New 2021/2022 academic year at MIIGAiK


Новый 2021/2022 учебный год в МИИГАиК

Given the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, the 2021/2022 academic year at MIIGAiK will traditionally begin in full-time format for all courses.

However, due to the continuing danger of the spread of COVID-19, some restrictions and additional requirements will continue to apply.

SEPTEMBER 1

Events dedicated to Knowledge Day 2021 and the beginning of the new academic year will be held at MIIGAiK according to an abbreviated program:

  • 09:00 - 13:00 - work of the festive photo zone for students and staff (foyer of the Main building);

  • 10:30 - 10:40 - Broadcast of video greetings from the MIIGAiK Rector, MIIGAiK President, partner organizations with the beginning of the new academic year (website, official MIIGAiK channels, monitors in the lobby of the Main Building);

  • 10:40 - 12:10 - Meetings of first-year students with deans by faculty

  • 12:10 - 13:00 - Meeting of the MIIGAiK labor collective (conference hall).

For those who entered the correspondence faculty, the meeting is held in a remote format (the link will be sent by 05.09.2021 by e-mail).

PERSONAL (CONTACT) LESSONS

For all students, with the exception of the first year, from 01.09.2021 classes will begin according to the schedule in the traditional format.

We remind you that attending classes for full-time students is mandatory.

FIRST GRADE

First-year students on 01.09.2021 are invited to the university by 10:00 to participate in the meeting by faculty.

From 02.09.2021, the first year classes are scheduled in the traditional full-time format.

RETURN TO THE DORMITORIES

Check-in of returning students in the dormitories is carried out in a standard manner. Students who have previously left the dorms are strongly advised to plan their return by a date.

POSITIONING THE FIRST COURSE IN THE DORMITORIES

We remind you that the check-in of the first course will be carried out according to the following schedule:

08/26/2021 - Geodetic faculty and Territorial Management faculty;

08/27/2021 – faculty of Optical Instrumentation and faculty of Geoinformatics and Information Security;

08/28/2021 - Architecture and Urban Planning and Cartographic faculty.

In September, general meetings will be held for residents of the dormitories.

SAFETY MEASURES IN MIIGAiK

Taking into account the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, everyone must comply with the following security measures in hostels and when attending classes:

  • in the buildings of the university it is necessary to use masks to protect the respiratory organs;

  • at the entrance to the dormitories and on the territory of the university, it is necessary to undergo thermometry (persons with a temperature above 37C, as well as with signs of SARS are not allowed to classes);

  • at the entrance to dormitories and university buildings, mandatory hand disinfection using sanitizers.

If you have ARVI symptoms or a positive PCR test, stay at home and call a doctor by phone number: 122. Students and teachers must notify the dean's office, those living in the dormitories - commandants, employees - the head of the department.

VACCINATION FOR COVID-19 As a reminder, vaccination is the only way to stop a pandemic. Vaccination is not a prerequisite for admission to classes, accommodation in dormitories, access to infrastructure. Together with contraindications, it is recommended to get vaccinated at the beginning of the academic year in order to reduce the risk and exclude a severe course of the disease. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, do not postpone vaccination against COVID-19!
