The infrastructure of the Laboratory

The IT Group has created the information-and-communications infrastructure of the Laboratory. It consists of a technology platform with a visualization support server cluster, a data storage system, more than 50 specialized computers for perfuming scientific investigations, united into a high-speed network, with modern software packages (INPHO, ISIS, SPICE, VICAR, IDL, ArcGIS, Photomod, ENVI, MAPinfo, and others), which makes it possible to process three-dimensional images.
