About the Conference

2026

“Spatial Data: Science and Technology” is an annual international scientific online conference organized by the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography MIIGAiK with the participation of partners — leading industrial companies, scientific organizations and federal regulators of standards and requirements in the field of spatial data.

The goal of the conference is to bring together scientists, researchers and specialists from various fields of science and industry who use spatial data in their work as unique characteristics of objects and natural phenomena, as well as of the anthropogenic environment. Earth sciences serve as the basis for creating technologies that are rapidly changing human life and our understanding of planetary phenomena and space. The international conference “Spatial Data: Science and Technology 2026” gives its participants the opportunity to introduce a wide range of specialists to modern areas of scientific research and solutions to current technological challenges in the field of collecting, processing and analyzing spatial data.

1. Participation format: the 2026 conference will be held online.
2. Presentation registration — until May 18, 2026.
3. Guest registration — until May 20, 2026.
4. Terms:
– Participation in the conference is free of charge.
– Your presentation may be in Russian or English, at your choice. The language is selected during registration.
– Publication in the scientific journal “Spatial Data: Science and Technology” is possible only in Russian. Please familiarize yourself with the publication stages and journal rules
